Our Story *

HAstudios began the way many good creative partnerships do: with art, banter, strong opinions, and at least a small amount of unnecessary drama.

What started as a shared love of art quickly turned into a real creative partnership. We realised that although we work differently, we bring out something good in each other’s process. Holly brings the hand-made soul. Afif brings the digital edge. Together, we create work that is bold, playful, personal and full of character.

We also spend a surprising amount of time arguing about details that nobody else would notice. Now we create artwork together that blends traditional art, digital illustration, storytelling and print. From framed pieces and commissions to playful concepts and ceramic work, everything we make carries a bit of both of us.

Holly is the traditional artist: paint, pen, instinct, texture, composition. Afif is the digital one: iPad, design, storytelling, gadgets, and the occasional belief that technology can solve absolutely everything. Somewhere between Holly’s brush and Afif’s screen, HAstudios was born.
